The referee ignored FC Bardridlan C.F's protests and gave Jaakoppi Määttä a yellow card for diving instead. 15 minutes into the match, taivaasiniset's Samuel Mäkilä sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaarlo Loikala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. taivaasiniset's Jouko Reimari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomi Rahikainen in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bardridlan C.F's zone, Samuel Mäkilä stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaarlo Loikala came out of the goal and Samuel Mäkilä tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jari Kemppainen struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jouko Reimari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bardridlan C.F. The audience was convinced that Jari Kemppainen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jouko Reimari was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, FC Bardridlan C.F's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Mäkilä came free, but Kaarlo Loikala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaarlo Loikala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jari Kemppainen during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jari Kemppainen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Lassi Kangasmäki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Kaarlo Loikala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Bardridlan C.F were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over taivaasiniset's much stronger midfield.
