Spectators: 7789 (Terracing: 5843, Seating: 1791, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samuel Mäkilä took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Ari Eloranta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 minutes, Samuel Mäkilä made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nilosvaara's Jalmari Grahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Nilosvaara's Seppo Hagelberg in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye taivaasiniset's goalie prevented a goal. Iivo Lotvonen hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jalmari Grahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ossi Ylänen in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 minutes Nilosvaara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herkko Rinne who took care of the corner kick. Nilosvaara's Ilppo Reijonen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jouko Reimari but with some difficulty. The supporters of Nilosvaara booed when taivaasiniset was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iivo Lotvonen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paavo Lepistö kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Samuel Mäkilä recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urmas Jussilainen hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Seppo Hagelberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jouko Reimari having to interfere. In the 39th minute Samuel Mäkilä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jalmari Grahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jalmari Grahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Mäkilä in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Seppo Hagelberg made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes taivaasiniset got a freekick which was hit by Iivo Lotvonen. After a rather tough play, taivaasiniset's Iivo Lotvonen got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Ari Eloranta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jouko Reimari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ari Eloranta succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. taivaasiniset's Samuel Mäkilä got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seppo Hagelberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jouko Reimari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Oskari Puurula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jouko Reimari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Oskari Puurula notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of taivaasiniset's Jouko Reimari. Jouko Reimari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes into the match, Nilosvaara's goalkeeper Jalmari Grahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Mäkilä. If Samuel Mäkilä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Mäkilä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jalmari Grahn having to interfere. Samuel Mäkilä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jouko Reimari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Seppo Hagelberg went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Many of taivaasiniset's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. taivaasiniset may have spent more time on the ball, but Nilosvaara were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
