With a left leg Jyrki Hana saved Fc InC from getting behind. Jyrki Hana was a little too slow when Tahvo Kaarniemi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. Alpo Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jyrki Hana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alpo Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Alpo Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jyrki Hana made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 60th minute, Alpo Nyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fc InC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suurimaa FC the free kick. The supporters of Suurimaa FC booed when Fc InC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tero Heinikangas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
