Spectators: 5903 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 100) 3 minutes into the game, Miro Karhunen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eelis Laurila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th minute, Jalmari Vikström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Antila kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Eelis Laurila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Risto Kankaanpää in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Miro Karhunen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eelis Laurila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aarre Saariaho in the 14th minute of play forced Turun Tanakka's goalkeeper Eelis Laurila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jalmari Vikström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kari Hakanpää having to interfere. When Elmeri Kuusinen came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Turun Tanakka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elmeri Kuusinen couldn't finish the play. Palosaaren Uimarit's Kari Hakanpää played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarno Siltavirta in the 21st minute of play. Kari Hakanpää made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Elmeri Kuusinen sent off a good shot on target. Eelis Laurila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Risto Kankaanpää, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Jalmari Vikström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turun Tanakka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jalmari Vikström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jarno Siltavirta came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Turun Tanakka fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jalmari Vikström in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kari Hakanpää saved Palosaaren Uimarit from getting behind. Kari Hakanpää came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Turun Tanakka's Jalmari Vikström. But to his dismay, Jalmari Vikström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kari Hakanpää didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jalmari Vikström went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Jalmari Vikström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kari Hakanpää showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jalmari Vikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Palosaaren Uimarit's zone, Jalmari Vikström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kari Hakanpää came out of the goal and Jalmari Vikström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elmeri Kuusinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aarre Saariaho charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aarre Saariaho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Palosaaren Uimarit defense, Jalmari Vikström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kari Hakanpää. The Palosaaren Uimarit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kari Hakanpää should have stopped the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarno Siltavirta couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Turun Tanakka fully deserved thier win.
