Kalle Kivimäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jyrki Hana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Jyrki Hana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sakari Valtonen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aleksi Paavola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jyrki Hana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 minutes, Petri Kuusela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pockar and the Fc InC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Pockar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petri Kuusela to maneuver through the defense. Fc InC's Jyrki Hana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksi Paavola in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Pockar got a freekick which was hit by Petri Kuusela. The audience was convinced that Sakari Valtonen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Veikko Venäläinen was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Fc InC's Jyrki Hana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Kivimäki in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, one of Fc InC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fc InC. Kalle Kivimäki kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Pockar's Saku Eskola got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes of play Pockar's Petri Kuusela was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Fc InC booed when Pockar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petri Kuusela didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sakari Valtonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalle Kivimäki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jyrki Hana having to make a save. Pockar's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
