Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arto Mansikkamäki ran back to his position shaking his head. Hannu Pitkämäki came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Bjensböle IFK's Leif Eloranta. But to his dismay, Leif Eloranta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hannu Pitkämäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arto Mansikkamäki, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Päiviö Kilponen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Arvo Järvenperä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mika Willman's late challenge caught a Bjensböle IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mika Willman helped the player get up and apologised. Arto Mansikkamäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannu Pitkämäki having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Arto Mansikkamäki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bjensböle IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Arto Mansikkamäki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannu Pitkämäki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leif Eloranta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannu Pitkämäki having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arto Mansikkamäki in the 39th minute of play forced Passoja FC's goalkeeper Hannu Pitkämäki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santtu Kivi kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Arvo Järvenperä showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valtteri Haanpää in the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arto Mansikkamäki made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arto Mansikkamäki in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hannu Pitkämäki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Päiviö Kilponen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Passoja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Päiviö Kilponen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvo Järvenperä breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Olavi Ylönen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bjensböle IFK's zone, Päiviö Kilponen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvo Järvenperä came out of the goal and Päiviö Kilponen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leif Eloranta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Valtteri Haanpää had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonne Hiedanpää kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Leif Eloranta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leif Eloranta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mika Willman hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes, Eino Korpisalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bjensböle IFK and the Passoja FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arvo Järvenperä showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valtteri Haanpää in the 97th minute of the match. Bjensböle IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
