Pekko Oravainen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Iikka Lotvonen made a huge save. A collision led to Vihiniemi getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jani Hagelberg hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Tuure Heino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yrjö Sulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Pekko Oravainen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Iikka Lotvonen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 19 minutes into the game, Iiro Vanhatalo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iikka Lotvonen. Iiro Vanhatalo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jaakkima Heinikainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yrjö Sulin having to interfere. Maunu Ahonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Jani Hagelberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yrjö Sulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Lumijärvi in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Jaakkima Heinikainen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maunu Ahonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Yrjö Sulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yrjö Sulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaakkima Heinikainen in the 45th minute of the match. When FC.Bosna's Tuure Heino in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vihiniemi's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfred Lumijärvi to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Jaakkima Heinikainen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tuure Heino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yrjö Sulin having to interfere. The supporters of FC.Bosna booed when Vihiniemi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antti Ihanamäki didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Vihiniemi's goalkeeper Yrjö Sulin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tuure Heino. If Alfred Lumijärvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jaakkima Heinikainen came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC.Bosna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaakkima Heinikainen couldn't finish the play. Alfred Lumijärvi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jaakkima Heinikainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Yrjö Sulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Lumijärvi in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yrjö Sulin saved Vihiniemi from getting behind. Tuure Heino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 79th playminute. Jaakkima Heinikainen struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Yrjö Sulin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC.Bosna. 88 minutes into the match, Vihiniemi's goal looked a bit too open when Iikka Palsola came free, but Yrjö Sulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vihiniemi's zone, Jaakkima Heinikainen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yrjö Sulin came out of the goal and Jaakkima Heinikainen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Vihiniemi's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Lumijärvi came free, but Yrjö Sulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Lumijärvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded FC.Bosna left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vihiniemi.
