Yrjänä Nylund started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Kappellstrand's Aleksi Huikari threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ismo Noponen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Iikka Pakaslahti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yrjänä Nylund in the 13th minute of play forced Kappellstrand's goalkeeper Joona Lehterä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, one of Kappellstrand:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 20 played minutes Tarvaspohja got a freekick which was hit by Kim Nikkinen. Aleksi Huikari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismo Noponen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Kim Nikkinen fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarvaspohja's protests and gave Kim Nikkinen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Kim Nikkinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ismo Noponen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Yrjänä Nylund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kappellstrand's Ismo Noponen got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Yrjänä Nylund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yrjänä Nylund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Lauri Vahalahti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joona Lehterä was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismo Noponen was the one to do the kick off. Ismo Noponen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aleksi Huikari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ismo Noponen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarvaspohja's Aleksi Huikari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iikka Pakaslahti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksi Huikari having to interfere. Asmo Kopelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Yrjänä Nylund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joona Lehterä saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismo Noponen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksi Huikari having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Iikka Pakaslahti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Ismo Noponen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taneli Sulin hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes, Jami Mantila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kappellstrand and the Tarvaspohja players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Kappellstrand:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tarvaspohja:s goal. 91 minutes into the match, Kappellstrand's goal looked a bit too open when Yrjänä Nylund came free, but Joona Lehterä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jukka Tirkkonen kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Yrjänä Nylund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Joona Lehterä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tarvaspohja had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
