Raino Vuoris short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Kauno Haapaniemi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 9th minute, Iiro Heinola fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kauno Haapaniemi, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Raino Vuori could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Kauno Haapaniemi however easily saved by the left post. Eljas Furuholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, HK Scan's goal looked a bit too open when Kai Saksinen came free, but Atso Normio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Raino Vuori came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the HK Scan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raino Vuori couldn't finish the play. Team Vires's Eljas Furuholm got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raino Vuori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauno Haapaniemi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eljas Furuholm in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atso Normio saved HK Scan from getting behind. After 28 played minutes HK Scan got a freekick which was hit by Ossi Kangasmäki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iiro Heinola in the 33rd minute of play forced Team Vires's goalkeeper Kauno Haapaniemi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Team Vires getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tero Kaven hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ilmari Saravo managed to get in a good position for a shot. HK Scan's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilmari Saravo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kauno Haapaniemi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raino Vuori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauno Haapaniemi having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Eljas Furuholm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HK Scan's Atso Normio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Team Vires's Orvo Sammalkangas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Atso Normio but with some difficulty. In the 54th minute, Kai Saksinen made a precise shot to the right of Atso Normio. HK Scan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Raino Vuori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Team Vires's Eljas Furuholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atso Normio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in HK Scan's zone, Veeti Eskola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atso Normio came out of the goal and Veeti Eskola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kai Saksinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, HK Scan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ossi Kangasmäki to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Veeti Eskola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team Vires's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HK Scan the free kick. The supporters of HK Scan booed when Team Vires was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veeti Eskola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Eevert Porokara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Team Vires's Kauno Haapaniemi didn't even have to move. If Raino Vuori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veeti Eskola hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, HK Scan's Iiro Heinola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kauno Haapaniemi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Veijo Jokila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HK Scan and the Team Vires players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Team Vires booed when HK Scan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veijo Jokila didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kai Saksinen in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atso Normio saved HK Scan from getting behind. Kauno Haapaniemi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iiro Heinola in the 89th minute of the match. Kai Saksinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Atso Normio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eljas Furuholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The HK Scan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Team Vires's performance. The match ended with a win for Team Vires.
