Spectators: 6797 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raine Karvinen started the match with the kick off. Kai Saksinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Karmo Haav made a huge save. When Tero Kaven fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Vires's protests and gave Tero Kaven a yellow card for diving instead. Raine Karvinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kai Saksinen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Karmo Haav when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eljas Furuholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Karmo Haav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Aurel Arseni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauno Haapaniemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Aukusti Hautaoja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauno Haapaniemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Kopola hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Vires's goalkeeper Kauno Haapaniemi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kauno Haapaniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Syvari's Tuure Esala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kauno Haapaniemi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Raine Karvinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Syvari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raine Karvinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Raine Karvinen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Kauno Haapaniemi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Raine Karvinen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kauno Haapaniemi, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Team Vires's Veeti Eskola got a free kick in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raine Karvinen in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauno Haapaniemi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raine Karvinen might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kauno Haapaniemi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raine Karvinen ran back to his position shaking his head. Tero Koivumäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute.
