Spectators: 6792 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kaapro Mäkinen got the match started through his kick off. When Kaapro Mäkinen came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the FC PiPeCa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaapro Mäkinen couldn't finish the play. Kaapro Mäkinen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Turkka Manninen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Kaapro Mäkinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turkka Manninen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Laitila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FC PiPeCa's Kaapro Mäkinen in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Kemi's goalie prevented a goal. Turkka Manninen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Lindberg's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Turkka Manninen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaapro Mäkinen went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Esa Lehtimäki came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Real Kemi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esa Lehtimäki couldn't finish the play. When Atro Vihervä fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC PiPeCa's protests and gave Atro Vihervä a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, FC PiPeCa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atro Vihervä to maneuver through the defense. When Antti Niskala fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Kemi's protests and gave Antti Niskala a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Real Kemi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antti Niskala to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Esa Lehtimäki made the kick off in the second half. Janne Riihijärvi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Laitila in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Real Kemi booed when FC PiPeCa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atro Vihervä didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Matias Laitila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Real Kemi's Esa Lehtimäki in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC PiPeCa's goalie prevented a goal. When Paul Lindberg came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FC PiPeCa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Lindberg couldn't finish the play. Esa Lehtimäki kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Kaapro Mäkinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turkka Manninen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Matias Laitila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janne Riihijärvi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esa Lehtimäki in the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, FC PiPeCa's Paul Lindberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Turkka Manninen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paul Lindberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Turkka Manninen came out and tried to block the shot, but Paul Lindberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 78th minute. Turkka Manninen came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC PiPeCa's Paul Lindberg. But to his dismay, Paul Lindberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Esa Lehtimäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Laitila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The FC PiPeCa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC PiPeCa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
