Alpi Saastamoinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valio Lotvonen having to interfere. Toivo Rintala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvo Viinikainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alpi Saastamoinen scored 1-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valio Lotvonen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aapeli Vähäsalo to make the kick off. Alpi Saastamoinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joni Välivaara got free with Toivo Rintala in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaakoppi Ristolainen kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Joni Väänänen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sporting Kristina's Valio Lotvonen didn't even have to move. With a little luck, South Hervanta FC's Toivo Rintala got control of the ball when Joni Välivaara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joni Välivaara succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
