Team Leon's supporters rose to their feet, but Sami Höök was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valio Lotvonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Team Leon's Roni Lääkkö got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Risto Repo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Kristina's protests and gave Risto Repo a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Team Leon a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. Team Leon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Kristina the free kick.
