Spectators: 7741 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Veikko Tallus started the match with the kick off. Veikko Tallus scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yrjö Vanhatalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Kiired's goal looked a bit too open when Tuukka Vainio came free, but Yrjö Vanhatalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Västersund IFK's Veikko Tallus got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veikko Tallus in the 14th minute of play forced Kiired's goalkeeper Yrjö Vanhatalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Kiired defense, Arttu Hiukka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yrjö Vanhatalo. The Kiired fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yrjö Vanhatalo should have stopped the shot. Arttu Hiukka scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yrjö Vanhatalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Veikko Tallus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yrjö Vanhatalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 29 minutes into the match, Kiired's goal looked a bit too open when Tuukka Vainio came free, but Yrjö Vanhatalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yrjö Vanhatalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martti Kaitainen in the 32nd minute of play. Yrjö Vanhatalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jouko Sulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Yrjö Vanhatalo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Västersund IFK's Veikko Tallus. But to his dismay, Veikko Tallus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 37 minutes into the match, Arttu Hiukka notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Kiired's Yrjö Vanhatalo. Yrjö Vanhatalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 42 played minutes Kiired got a freekick which was hit by Ahto Oravainen. Yrjö Vanhatalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veikko Tallus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Arttu Hiukka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yrjö Vanhatalo. Kiired's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arttu Hiukka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fateh Zerara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Kiired's Yrjö Vanhatalo got control of the ball when Martti Kaitainen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yrjö Vanhatalo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Arttu Hiukka sent off a good shot on target. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 58th minute, but Yrjö Vanhatalo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Kiired hanging dry this time. 61 minutes into the match, Kiired's goalkeeper Yrjö Vanhatalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tuukka Vainio. Yrjö Vanhatalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veikko Tallus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veikko Tallus in the 67th minute of play forced Kiired's goalkeeper Yrjö Vanhatalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiired's Yrjö Vanhatalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Kiired from getting a goal against them. After 74 minutes of play, Västersund IFK's Jouko Sulin made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yrjö Vanhatalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kiired's Valentin Saravo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Kiired's goalkeeper Yrjö Vanhatalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arttu Hiukka. After 86 played minutes Kiired got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Saravo. 88 minutes into the game, Tuukka Vainio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yrjö Vanhatalo. Tuukka Vainio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. In the 92nd minute, Västersund IFK's Veikko Tallus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. When Jouko Sulin came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Västersund IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jouko Sulin couldn't finish the play.
