Johannes Rämö showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 16th minute, Klaus Jaakkola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karlsdal FC's Hannes Räikkönen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Karlsdal FC from getting a goal against them. Juha-Pekka Tuores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hannes Räikkönen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karlsdal FC's Hannes Räikkönen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herkko Kalto in the 21st minute of play. Petteri Lotvonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reima Kimmonen in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Herkko Tervonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petteri Lotvonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herkko Tervonen struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Petteri Lotvonen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karlsdal FC. Hannes Räikkönen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herkko Kalto in the 35th minute of the match. If Herkko Kalto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Herkko Kalto made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Herkko Kalto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hannes Räikkönen. Karlsdal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herkko Kalto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a rather tough play, PaskalajiFC's Raimo Virta got a free kick in the 59th minute. Petteri Lotvonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herkko Tervonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Reima Kimmonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karlsdal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reima Kimmonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petteri Lotvonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johannes Rämö hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Herkko Tervonen fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karlsdal FC's protests and gave Herkko Tervonen a yellow card for diving instead. Herkko Tervonen kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. PaskalajiFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karlsdal FC the free kick. Herkko Tervonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petteri Lotvonen having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Karlsdal FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PaskalajiFC.
