When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Keijo Markkula made a kick off. Yrjänä Saastamoinen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Päiviö Hana having to make a save. Tauno Timoska kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Päiviö Hana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keijo Markkula in the 70th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Viksgård's Keijo Markkula slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Päiviö Hana. That made the score 0-3 after 72 minutes of play. After 79 played minutes Viksgård got a freekick which was hit by Kalervo Lehtonen. Päiviö Hana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalervo Lehtonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
