Urpo Pirjetä scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aarno Leinonen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Urpo Pirjetä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Urpo Pirjetä came free, but Aarno Leinonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Pekka Ristilä. Aarno Leinonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onni Elo in the 24th minute of the match. Urpo Pirjetä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Onni Elo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Barcelona's Aarno Leinonen. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Urpo Pirjetä made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Ossi Leppiniemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC Barcelona's Aarno Leinonen got control of the ball when Sulo Teräs tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Aarno Leinonen managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when FC Opetuslapset's Onni Elo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Onni Elo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aarno Leinonen having to interfere. If Urpo Pirjetä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aarno Leinonen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Onni Elo in the 86th minute. A hard shot 94 in the game by Onni Elo from a close distance when the talented Aarno Leinonen managed to make a qualified save. FC Barcelona's players were relieved. In the 96th minute, Urpo Pirjetä got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded FC Opetuslapset left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Barcelona.
