Spectators: 7814 (Terracing: 5862, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elmeri Lagerblom got the match started through his kick off. When Elmeri Lagerblom came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Mikkolanpelto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elmeri Lagerblom couldn't finish the play. Aro's Hannu Setälä played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmeri Lagerblom in the 5th minute of play. Elmeri Lagerblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hannu Setälä showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Timo Malmivaara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mikkolanpelto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aro the free kick. The supporters of Aro booed when Mikkolanpelto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Malmivaara didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asko Lehterä in the 22nd minute of play forced Mikkolanpelto's goalkeeper Tommi Salmela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Aro's Konstantin Wallden got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Desiderio Maurino had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 24 minutes into the game, Markus Willman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mikkolanpelto the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Aro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Willman to maneuver through the defense. Elmeri Lagerblom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elmer Kyrönlahti kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radko Dragov in the 32nd minute of play forced Aro's goalkeeper Hannu Setälä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Sillgren lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Mikkolanpelto getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tony Sillgren hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Aro's Elmer Kyrönlahti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommi Salmela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elmer Kyrönlahti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Tommi Salmela made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Mikkolanpelto's Stig Dalberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hannu Setälä narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kerkko Parkkali stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Mikkolanpelto's Anttoni Hurme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hannu Setälä narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Radko Dragov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hannu Setälä was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Stig Dalberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Elmeri Lagerblom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mikkolanpelto's supporters rose to their feet, but Elmeri Lagerblom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannu Setälä breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Elmo Haanpää had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikkolanpelto's Armas Louke was substituted for Paavo Rosendahl. Tommi Salmela came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Aro's Elmer Kyrönlahti. But to his dismay, Elmer Kyrönlahti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Radko Dragov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hannu Setälä read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Stig Dalberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mikkolanpelto's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Dalberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannu Setälä breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anttoni Hurme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hannu Setälä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommi Salmela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Wallden in the 78th minute of the match. Anttoni Hurme might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hannu Setälä. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anttoni Hurme ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Elmeri Lagerblom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hannu Setälä was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Tommi Salmela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerkko Parkkali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anttoni Hurme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elmeri Lagerblom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hannu Setälä having to make a save. Tommi Salmela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerkko Parkkali, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 90th match minute, Mikkolanpelto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmeri Lagerblom to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Kerkko Parkkali left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
