Jarkko Poikolainen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jussi Vehmanen. Sakari Ojansuu hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Mauno Kaven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eemil Timonen in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osmo Pyhältö saved Potku-Pallo-Kerho from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kemi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
