A wasted opportunity for Jurvansalo. 23 minutes into the match, Potku-Pallo-Kerho's goal looked a bit too open when Kullervo Nikkari came free, but Osmo Pyhältö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Jurvansalo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rasmus Kiuru should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Jurvansalo booed when Potku-Pallo-Kerho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aarno Hietaharju didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Jurvansalo's Kullervo Nikkari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osmo Pyhältö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Mauno Kaven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
