The referee ignored FC CHELSEA's protests and gave Iivari Luhtio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC CHELSEA's Iivari Luhtio got a free kick in the 12th minute. Hemminki Laamanen took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rainer Jalkanen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tero Vatanen in the 24th minute of play forced FC CHELSEA's goalkeeper Rainer Jalkanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eero Koistinen made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Jere Peltomaa sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th match minute, Bossmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvo Marttinen to maneuver through the defense. Jere Peltomaa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eero Koistinen having to make a save. Hemminki Laamanen struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Rainer Jalkanen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bossmen. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hemminki Laamanen couldn't finish the play. Tero Vatanens short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Rainer Jalkanen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the FC CHELSEA defense, Topias Mantila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rainer Jalkanen. The FC CHELSEA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rainer Jalkanen should have stopped the shot. Bossmen's Eero Koistinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paavali Huppunen in the 83rd minute of play. Jere Peltomaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes, Topias Mantila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bossmen and the FC CHELSEA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rainer Jalkanen made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Tero Vatanen sent off a good shot on target. Iivari Luhtio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Bossmen played a much better game than FC CHELSEA and deserved their victory. The FC CHELSEA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
