Spectators: 7950 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1815, VIP seats: 135) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tuure Palo started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Oliver Sainomaa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Koisthuhta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Aappo Tuominen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jesse Berg, 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Oliver Sainomaa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Koisthuhta FC booed when Vintturi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaro Siltavirta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Sainomaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Oliver Sainomaa came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Koisthuhta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Sainomaa couldn't finish the play. Oliver Sainomaa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jesse Berg made a huge save. In the 22nd match minute, Vintturi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilppo Hietalahti to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aappo Tuominen in the 26th minute of play forced Vintturi's goalkeeper Jesse Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Sainomaa got free with Jesse Berg in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Koisthuhta FC's Aappo Tuominen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Manu Palenius might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesse Berg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manu Palenius ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Vintturi getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tuure Palo hit a great ball. Koisthuhta FC's Oliver Sainomaa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 45 minutes, Oliver Sainomaa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koisthuhta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Sainomaa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aappo Tuominen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jesse Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Sainomaa in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Oliver Sainomaa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vintturi's Jesse Berg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Koisthuhta FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Manu Palenius hit a great ball. If Oliver Sainomaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Koisthuhta FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Hermanni Koivuniemi hit a great ball. Ilppo Hietalahti struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Mika Arkivuo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vintturi. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aarto Venäläinen during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Koisthuhta FC's Kerkko Kananen was substituted for Oliver Sainomaa. In the 80th minute, one of Vintturi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vintturi. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Koisthuhta FC. Ossi Hakala stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jesse Berg. 6-0. 88 minutes into the match, Vintturi's goal looked a bit too open when Kerkko Kananen came free, but Jesse Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Kerkko Kananen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jesse Berg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aappo Tuominen in the 95th minute of play forced Vintturi's goalkeeper Jesse Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasperi Siren hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After 97 played minutes Koisthuhta FC got a freekick which was hit by Eeli Sorsa. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Koisthuhta FC had played much better football throughout.
