Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aappo Tuominen started the match with the kick off. Oliver Sainomaa might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valto Haapamäki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Sainomaa ran back to his position shaking his head. Oliver Sainomaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Koisthuhta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Mika Arkivuo had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Rami Santahuhta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 11th minute, Rami Santahuhta made a precise shot to the right of Mika Arkivuo. Koisthuhta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 14 minutes of play, Koisthuhta FC's Oliver Sainomaa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valto Haapamäki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urdiala's Valto Haapamäki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Sainomaa in the 22nd minute of play. Valto Haapamäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aappo Tuominen in the 29th minute of the match. Oliver Sainomaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Valto Haapamäki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-2 became the score in the 34th minute when Oliver Sainomaa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, Koisthuhta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janne Alanko to maneuver through the defense. If Aappo Tuominen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Koisthuhta FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute Urdiala were awarded a corner. Rami Santahuhta went to the cornerflag to take it. Ossi Hakala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Valto Haapamäki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 59th minute of the match Veijo Myllynen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Veijo Myllynen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Veijo Myllynen hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Oliver Sainomaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Aappo Tuominen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valto Haapamäki. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 74th match minute, Koisthuhta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Sainomaa to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes, Juhani Pajula mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urdiala and the Koisthuhta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Koisthuhta FC played a much better game than Urdiala and deserved their victory. The Urdiala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
