In the 6th minute Ossi Hakala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilppo Rintala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oliver Sainomaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Sainomaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilppo Rintala having to interfere. Sipi Lagerblom kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Oliver Sainomaa came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Koisthuhta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Sainomaa couldn't finish the play. The Koisthuhta FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Koisthuhta FC's Oliver Sainomaa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Sainomaa in the 36th minute of play forced Taikinaho FC's goalkeeper Ilppo Rintala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilppo Rintala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Sainomaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ilppo Rintala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Sainomaa in the 39th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aappo Tuominen to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Koisthuhta FC's Oliver Sainomaa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilppo Rintala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Koisthuhta FC's Aappo Tuominen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Hannu Kalliokoski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taikinaho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannu Kalliokoski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mika Arkivuo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliver Sainomaa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 72nd playminute. Aappo Tuominen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilppo Rintala having to interfere. Aappo Tuominen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilppo Rintala having to interfere. Koisthuhta FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
