The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aappo Tuominen scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daavid Litmanen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daavid Litmanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aappo Tuominen in the 20th minute of play. Oliver Sainomaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Daavid Litmanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Koisthuhta FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Hermanni Koivuniemi hit a great ball. If Oliver Sainomaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 33 minutes of play, Koisthuhta FC's Aappo Tuominen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daavid Litmanen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mika Arkivuo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teemu Koski in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ubbersnäs's goalkeeper Daavid Litmanen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Koisthuhta FC booed when Ubbersnäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Kuusela didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aappo Tuominen in the 42nd minute of play forced Ubbersnäs's goalkeeper Daavid Litmanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Eeli Sorsa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teemu Koski was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Pasi Myllynen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ubbersnäs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koisthuhta FC the free kick. When Oliver Sainomaa came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Koisthuhta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Sainomaa couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Ubbersnäs's Daavid Litmanen got control of the ball when Ossi Hakala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubbersnäs's Daavid Litmanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aappo Tuominen in the 63rd minute of play. Oliver Sainomaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daavid Litmanen having to interfere. Ubbersnäs's Daavid Litmanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aappo Tuominen in the 89th minute of play. Daavid Litmanen made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Oliver Sainomaa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aappo Tuominen in the 94th minute of play forced Ubbersnäs's goalkeeper Daavid Litmanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
