Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Juhani Pajula made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes, Toni Strömberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urdiala and the Rattosjärvi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute of the match Ensio Uusipaavalniemi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valto Haapamäki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Juhani Pajula was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 13 played minutes Rattosjärvi got a freekick which was hit by Tuukka Nieminen. In the 16th minute, Urdiala's Juhani Pajula ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sami Snellman. Sami Snellman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Sami Snellman was a little too slow when Juhani Pajula got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. Rattosjärvi's Sami Snellman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Rattosjärvi from getting a goal against them. Matti Tuomainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sami Snellman came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Urdiala's Matti Tuomainen. But to his dismay, Matti Tuomainen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Valto Haapamäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaarlo Kampman, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 46th match minute, Urdiala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hemmo Kattilakoski to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaarlo Kampman was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Rattosjärvi booed when Urdiala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Strömberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Urdiala's Elmo Haataja got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some careless play in the Urdiala defense, Oiva Viljamaa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valto Haapamäki. The Urdiala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valto Haapamäki should have stopped the shot. In the 65th match minute, Rattosjärvi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaarlo Kampman to maneuver through the defense. If Oiva Viljamaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valto Haapamäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaarlo Kampman in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Urdiala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Auvo Eronen to maneuver through the defense. Oiva Viljamaa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Valto Haapamäki made a huge save. Valto Haapamäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaarlo Kampman, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Oiva Viljamaa struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Valto Haapamäki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rattosjärvi. Hemmo Kattilakoski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, Hemmo Kattilakoski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urdiala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rattosjärvi the free kick. Oiva Viljamaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valto Haapamäki having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaarlo Kampman in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valto Haapamäki prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
