Rikhard Laine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pekka Virolainen having to interfere. Keimo Jokiranta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olli-Pekka Laatikainen kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Parikkala sdfIFK's Pekka Virolainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmo Puutio in the 21st minute of play. Teijo Kosonen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anssi Ahmaoja in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikhard Laine in the 28th minute of play forced Parikkala sdfIFK's goalkeeper Pekka Virolainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Parikkala sdfIFK's Ossian Viljanen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teijo Kosonen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Tetomdsf booed when Parikkala sdfIFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilmo Tikkanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parikkala sdfIFK's Pekka Virolainen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Parikkala sdfIFK from getting a goal against them. Pekka Virolainen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rikhard Laine in the 91st minute. The Tetomdsf players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
