A collision led to Parikkala sdfIFK getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Pirkka Rosenqvist hit a great ball. Sami Tallus got a throw-in 4 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lasse Nielikäinen. Ossian Viljanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Otto Miettinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pirkka Rosenqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match, Kauno Ruohiainen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pekka Virolainen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 15 played minutes Parikkala sdfIFK got a freekick which was hit by Markus Okkonen. 16 minutes into the match, Isokadytö IFK's Topias Kokkonen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pekka Virolainen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kauno Ruohiainen got free with Pekka Virolainen in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pekka Virolainen came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Isokadytö IFK's Vili Rajamäki. But to his dismay, Vili Rajamäki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lasse Nielikäinen during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Parikkala sdfIFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lasse Nielikäinen to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Isokadytö IFK's Vili Rajamäki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pekka Virolainen. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. After 32 played minutes Isokadytö IFK got a freekick which was hit by Petri Viisala. 33 minutes into the match, Isokadytö IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Ossian Viljanen came free, but Otto Miettinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Jaakola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Isokadytö IFK booed when Parikkala sdfIFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lasse Nielikäinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Vili Rajamäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Pekka Virolainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Parikkala sdfIFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pekka Virolainen should have stopped the shot. Pekka Virolainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauno Ruohiainen in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauno Ruohiainen in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pekka Virolainen saved Parikkala sdfIFK from getting behind. If Vili Rajamäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unto Murto hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Anssi Ahmaoja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Miettinen having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Isokadytö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unto Murto to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Heikki Salminen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Parikkala sdfIFK's Ossian Viljanen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. There was no doubt that Isokadytö IFK were the better team. Isokadytö IFK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
