In the 8th minute, Herman Pyörälä made a precise shot to the right of Pertti Leinonen. dfg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauno Miettinen in the 11th minute of play forced dfg's goalkeeper Pertti Leinonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antti Helenius kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joonatan Niinimäki got free with Aleksis Törmänen in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pertti Leinonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maunu Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. dfg's Pertti Leinonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauno Miettinen in the 41st minute of play. Teemu Uusipaavalniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksis Törmänen having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Maunu Söderström notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of dfg's Pertti Leinonen. Pertti Leinonen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Visa Eklund to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Visa Eklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pertti Leinonen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rikhard Loukonen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. Maunu Söderström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Pertti Leinonen made a huge save. Antti Helenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksis Törmänen having to interfere. Herman Pyörälä recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antti Helenius kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The Munkkala FC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Munkkala FC's Mauno Miettinen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. dfg's Pertti Leinonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save dfg from getting a goal against them. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pertti Leinonen. In the 92nd match minute, Munkkala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ari Manneroos to maneuver through the defense. Munkkala FC played a much better game than dfg and deserved their victory. The dfg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
