A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Roni Koivuranta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Otto Miettinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Unto Murto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Isokadytö IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lappohja FCa the free kick. After 23 played minutes Lappohja FCa got a freekick which was hit by Roni Koivuranta. 27 minutes into the match, Topias Kokkonen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roni Hulkkonen. Lappohja FCa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Topias Kokkonen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some careless play in the Isokadytö IFK defense, Ismo Häppölä kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otto Miettinen. The Isokadytö IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otto Miettinen should have stopped the shot. After having played for 36 minutes, Ismo Häppölä managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lappohja FCa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismo Häppölä was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kalervo Korkeakoski kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Mikko Tuulola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Miettinen having to interfere. Lappohja FCa's Roni Hulkkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsi Kalliokoski in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Kauno Ruohiainen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Roni Hulkkonen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismo Häppölä made a kick off. Mikko Tuulola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Miettinen having to interfere. If Teuvo Kiviranta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lappohja FCa's Roni Hulkkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niko Ristolainen in the 62nd minute of play. When Petri Viisala fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Isokadytö IFK's protests and gave Petri Viisala a yellow card for diving instead. Teuvo Kiviranta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Miettinen having to interfere. Ismo Häppölä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikko Tuulola got free with Otto Miettinen in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
