Kalervo Häppölä showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauno Miettinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Markus Vapamaa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Naarksd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Munkkala FC the free kick. A collision led to Naarksd getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Markus Vapamaa hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes, Munkkala FC's Kustavi Oksa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kalervo Häppölä came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Munkkala FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauno Miettinen in the 23rd minute of play forced Naarksd's goalkeeper Kalervo Häppölä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalervo Häppölä didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maunu Söderström went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute Mauno Miettinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalervo Häppölä saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asmo Siren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Teemu Uotila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Asmo Siren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naarksd's supporters rose to their feet, but Asmo Siren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksis Törmänen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Naarksd getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Teemu Uotila hit a great ball. After 43 minutes, Aki Tukio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naarksd and the Munkkala FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maunu Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalervo Häppölä having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Asmo Siren was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Iiro Luotonen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleksis Törmänen. Munkkala FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iiro Luotonen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Kalervo Häppölä showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Pyörälä, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Aleksis Törmänen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keijo Nieminen in the 60th minute of the match. Kalervo Häppölä didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maunu Söderström went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Rikhard Loukonen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kalervo Häppölä was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asmo Siren in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksis Törmänen saved Munkkala FC from getting behind. After 69 played minutes Munkkala FC got a freekick which was hit by Heikki Piispa. Keijo Nieminen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Aleksis Törmänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute of the match Aki Tukio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aleksis Törmänen skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Munkkala FC's Tero Sjögren got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, Munkkala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kustavi Oksa to maneuver through the defense. If Iiro Luotonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalervo Häppölä came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Munkkala FC's Maunu Söderström. But to his dismay, Maunu Söderström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Keijo Nieminen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Aleksis Törmänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Naarksd's goal looked a bit too open when Rikhard Loukonen came free, but Kalervo Häppölä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heikki Piispa's late challenge caught a Naarksd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heikki Piispa helped the player get up and apologised. Aleksis Törmänen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iiro Luotonen in the 91st minute. Herman Pyörälä hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Munkkala FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
