Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Allan Jokilahti kicked off to start the match. Öjnaa's Ilkka Kuusiniemi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konsta Siponen in the 4th minute of play. When Panu Palonen fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Öjnaa's protests and gave Panu Palonen a yellow card for diving instead. Ossian Viljanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilkka Kuusiniemi having to interfere. The supporters of Parikkala sdfIFK booed when Öjnaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Kangasniemi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Parikkala sdfIFK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Anssi Ahmaoja hit a great ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Parikkala sdfIFK's goalkeeper Pekka Virolainen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ilkka Kuusiniemi made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Konsta Siponen sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Klaus Kärnä managed to get in a good position for a shot. Öjnaa's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaus Kärnä was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pekka Virolainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kaarlo Helminen kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Öjnaa booed when Parikkala sdfIFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anssi Ahmaoja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Jokilahti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Parikkala sdfIFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Öjnaa were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konsta Siponen made a kick off. Konsta Siponen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilkka Kuusiniemi having to make a save. When Markus Okkonen fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parikkala sdfIFK's protests and gave Markus Okkonen a yellow card for diving instead. Markus Okkonen kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Jokilahti got free with Pekka Virolainen in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 played minutes Öjnaa got a freekick which was hit by Mika Reinikka. After a defensive mix-up in Öjnaa's zone, Anssi Ahmaoja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilkka Kuusiniemi came out of the goal and Anssi Ahmaoja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Allan Jokilahti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Pekka Virolainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lasse Nielikäinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sami Tallus made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lasse Nielikäinen. Pekka Virolainen came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Öjnaa's Allan Jokilahti. But to his dismay, Allan Jokilahti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pirkka Rosenqvist struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ilkka Kuusiniemi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parikkala sdfIFK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Jokilahti in the 84th minute of play forced Parikkala sdfIFK's goalkeeper Pekka Virolainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilkka Kuusiniemi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konsta Siponen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sami Tallus's late challenge caught a Öjnaa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sami Tallus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Parikkala sdfIFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sami Tallus to maneuver through the defense. Sauli Hannukainen missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 96 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ilkka Kuusiniemi right hand side.
