Mustanisdfemi IFK's Osmo Pasanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Visa Eklund in the 23rd minute of play. Pertti Leinonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomon Sanevuori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Salomon Sanevuori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pertti Leinonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Riku Ollikainen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Visa Eklunds short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Osmo Pasanen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pertti Leinonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarno Blom in the 42nd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jarno Blom made the kick off in the second half. Mustanisdfemi IFK's Jyrki Hiedanpää got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Jyrki Hiedanpää off the ground. In the 52nd minute, Jyrki Hiedanpää hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Teemu Uusipaavalniemi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for dfg. Visa Eklund stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Osmo Pasanen. 3-1. 72 minutes into the match, Mustanisdfemi IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Joonatan Niinimäki came free, but Osmo Pasanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mustanisdfemi IFK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jarno Blom hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes Mustanisdfemi IFK got a freekick which was hit by Orvo Hämäläinen. After a rather tough play, Mustanisdfemi IFK's Aimo Vihtilä got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Visa Eklund sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mustanisdfemi IFK's Osmo Pasanen didn't even have to move. After 89 minutes dfg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jarno Blom who took care of the corner kick. Visa Eklund took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osmo Pasanen. Osmo Pasanen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Osmo Pasanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riku Ollikainen in the 94th minute of play. Orvo Hämäläinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustanisdfemi IFK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
