Ilkka Kuusiniemi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Rami Häkkinen made a precise shot to the right of Kalervo Häppölä. Naarksd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asmo Siren in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilkka Kuusiniemi saved Öjnaa from getting behind. Öjnaa's Ilkka Kuusiniemi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asmo Siren in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Öjnaa's Allan Jokilahti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kalervo Häppölä narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kalervo Häppölä didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klaus Kärnä went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Herman Kangasniemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Öjnaa booed when Naarksd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teemu Uotila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Öjnaa got a freekick which was hit by Panu Palonen. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Allan Jokilahti made the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Iiro Luotonen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naarksd and the Öjnaa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iiro Luotonen hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Ilkka Kuusiniemi was a little too slow when Asmo Siren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-3. 62 minutes into the game, Miro Puumala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Naarksd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Öjnaa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Naarksd's Miro Puumala got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Rainer Kärki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tauno Viljamaa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Rainer Kärki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kalervo Häppölä. Naarksd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rainer Kärki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 95 minutes into the match, Naarksd's goal looked a bit too open when Klaus Kärnä came free, but Kalervo Häppölä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Naarksd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teemu Uotila to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
