With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gleb Simonov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute Keimo Manninen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matti Torkkeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sippolanperä could leave the field as winners, despite Gnössyksen Soturit having more of the ball for most of the match.
