The supporters of LiPaS booed when Parpola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Uotila didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Antonio Belfiore made the kick off in the second half. Arvo Saarela's late challenge caught a LiPaS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arvo Saarela helped the player get up and apologised. Arvo Saarela kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Petteri Vuori sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Parpola's Raimo Sulku didn't even have to move. After 56 minutes, Olli Myllylä mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parpola and the LiPaS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 minutes of play, Parpola's Jarmo Kokko made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonni Karalahti was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Keimo Lönnblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miko Haapamäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Raimo Sulku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonni Karalahti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesse Salermo in the 68th minute. Antonio Belfiore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miko Haapamäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Raimo Sulku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimo Sulku stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Belfiore's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Jesse Salermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonni Karalahti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Jonni Karalahti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasperi Elomo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Jarmo Kokko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Belfiore struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Raimo Sulku didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LiPaS. Kasperi Elomo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonni Karalahti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Jesse Salermo took a quick shot and it went in 5-3 without a chance for Jonni Karalahti to make any attempt to save it. There was no doubt that LiPaS were the better team. LiPaS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
