After recieving a nice pass, Sippolanperä's Tapio Pesonen tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Jarmo Kokko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matti Torkkeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesse Salermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Timo Pasoja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timo Pasoja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Raimo Sulku made a huge save. Raimo Sulku acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eevert Pyörälä. In the 22nd minute, Jarmo Kokko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matti Torkkeli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jesse Salermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matti Torkkeli having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Parpola's Jarmo Kokko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matti Torkkeli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matti Torkkeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarmo Kokko in the 38th minute of the match. Jesse Salermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matti Torkkeli having to interfere. Jarmo Kokko struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Matti Torkkeli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parpola. If Jesse Salermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tauno Oravainen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61stth minute of the game Jarmo Kokko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sippolanperä's Matti Torkkeli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tauno Oravainen in the 63rd minute of play forced Parpola's goalkeeper Raimo Sulku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Parpola's zone, Timo Pasoja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimo Sulku came out of the goal and Timo Pasoja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tauno Oravainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Timo Pasoja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sippolanperä's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timo Pasoja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matti Torkkeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarmo Kokko in the 94th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ale Viljanen during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ale Viljanen kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Parpola's Matti Torkkeli threw himself towards the right post 98 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jarmo Kokko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
