Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reima Heinikallio started the match with the kick off. Tolos were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Fc Puolipupeltajat's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santeri Allen took the corner. The corner led Tolos's Arvi Palenius to fire away a dangerous shot which Terho Pursiainen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 8th minute, Vili Katila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roni Jokiranta was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Tolos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roni Jokiranta to maneuver through the defense. Fc Puolipupeltajat's Mikko Santala got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Raino Järvinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tolos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raino Järvinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Ismo Rahkola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alpo Etula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raino Järvinen in the 23rd minute of play forced Fc Puolipupeltajat's goalkeeper Terho Pursiainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alpo Etula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsti Esala, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Taisto Lahti notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tolos's Alpo Etula. Alpo Etula was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alpo Etula came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Puolipupeltajat's Reima Heinikallio. But to his dismay, Reima Heinikallio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 44 minutes into the game, Tomi Vento threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tolos's Topias Kivi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Torsti Esala's late challenge caught a Tolos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsti Esala helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Torsti Esala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Alpo Etula didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taisto Lahti went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Tolos's Matias Rahikainen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tomi Vento, made in the 56th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Tolos's goalkeeper Alpo Etula had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismo Rahkola. A hard shot 60 in the game by Ismo Rahkola from a close distance when the talented Alpo Etula managed to make a qualified save. Tolos's players were relieved. If Raino Järvinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Fc Puolipupeltajat booed when Tolos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Rahikainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tolos getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Matias Rahikainen hit a great ball. Alpo Etula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taisto Lahti, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Anssi Väisänen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santeri Allen hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Pentti Uhlbäck's late challenge caught a Fc Puolipupeltajat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pentti Uhlbäck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Tolos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pentti Uhlbäck to maneuver through the defense. Pentti Uhlbäck kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Mikko Santala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alpo Etula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fc Puolipupeltajat had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
