Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Tauno Oravainen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Matti Torkkeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reima Heinikallio in the 4th minute of the match. Matti Torkkeli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismo Rahkola in the 12th minute. After 14 minutes of play, Sippolanperä's Timo Pasoja made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Terho Pursiainen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matti Torkkeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reima Heinikallio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Reima Heinikallio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matti Torkkeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Tauno Oravainen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Puolipupeltajat's Terho Pursiainen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 24 minutes Fc Puolipupeltajat's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tapio Pesonen who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sippolanperä's corner Tapio Pesonen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Terho Pursiainen quite easily take care of the ball. Fc Puolipupeltajat's Veli Paajanen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jyrki Niinimäki, made in the 28th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the game, Fc Puolipupeltajat's Taisto Lahti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matti Torkkeli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sippolanperä's zone, Ismo Rahkola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matti Torkkeli came out of the goal and Ismo Rahkola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fc Puolipupeltajat's Ismo Rahkola got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Fc Puolipupeltajat's goal looked a bit too open when Tauno Oravainen came free, but Terho Pursiainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matti Torkkeli came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Puolipupeltajat's Ismo Rahkola. But to his dismay, Ismo Rahkola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 55thth minute of the game Reima Heinikallio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sippolanperä's Matti Torkkeli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 minutes, Tauno Oravainen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sippolanperä and the Fc Puolipupeltajat players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 62 minutes, Ismo Rahkola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Puolipupeltajat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismo Rahkola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikael Huikari's late challenge caught a Fc Puolipupeltajat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Huikari helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fc Puolipupeltajat booed when Sippolanperä was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Huikari didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Tauno Oravainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes of play, Fc Puolipupeltajat's Reima Heinikallio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matti Torkkeli was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Taisto Lahti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matti Torkkeli. Sippolanperä's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taisto Lahti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 79th match minute, Fc Puolipupeltajat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veli Paajanen to maneuver through the defense. The Fc Puolipupeltajat fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Fc Puolipupeltajat's Reima Heinikallio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Matti Torkkeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismo Rahkola in the 86th minute of play. Matti Torkkeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismo Rahkola in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Reima Heinikallio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matti Torkkeli was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. 95 minutes into the match, Fc Puolipupeltajat's goalkeeper Terho Pursiainen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timo Pasoja. Sippolanperä's Mikael Huikari got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Mikael Huikari off the ground. Fc Puolipupeltajat walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
