Vili Katila started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Gnössyksen Soturit's goal looked a bit too open when Raino Järvinen came free, but Gleb Simonov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santeri Allen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tolos getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Taito Rinne hit a great ball. Raino Järvinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gleb Simonov having to interfere. If Matias Rahikainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Vili Katila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keimo Manninen in the 24th minute of play forced Tolos's goalkeeper Alpo Etula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 26 minutes on the clock, Topias Kivi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 28th minute, Tosin Abazi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Gnössyksen Soturit's Alpo Etula threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Keimo Manninen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Raino Järvinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gleb Simonov having to interfere. Matias Rahikainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Matias Rahikainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Roni Jokiranta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tolos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gnössyksen Soturit the free kick. In the 43rd minute, one of Tolos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tolos. Otso Pynnönen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Alpo Etula made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Matias Rahikainen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gleb Simonov having to make a save. Alpo Etula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ale Pasanen in the 54th minute of play. Raino Järvinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gleb Simonov having to interfere. Miika Alanen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alpo Etula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Keimo Manninen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alpo Etula. Tolos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Keimo Manninen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Santeri Allen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gleb Simonov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raino Järvinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alpo Etula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miika Alanen in the 76th minute of the match. When Raino Järvinen came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Tolos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raino Järvinen couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Gnössyksen Soturit's Gleb Simonov got control of the ball when Santeri Allen tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Raino Järvinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gnössyksen Soturit's zone, Raino Järvinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gleb Simonov came out of the goal and Raino Järvinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Keimo Manninen came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gnössyksen Soturit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keimo Manninen couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Gnössyksen Soturit getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sten Beton hit a great ball. Gleb Simonov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santeri Allen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Arvi Palenius's late challenge caught a Gnössyksen Soturit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arvi Palenius helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gnössyksen Soturit booed when Tolos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvi Palenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gnössyksen Soturit players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
