But to his dismay, Grigore Apetroaiei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Stefan Fogel kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Vesa Kinnunen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Vatanen having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannu Ikonen to maneuver through the defense. FC Reserve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantin Koivu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vesa Kinnunen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half FC Reserve were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Rimpiläinen to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Grigore Apetroaiei took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Johannes Vatanen to make any attempt to save it. No goal. 68 minutes into the match, FC Reserve's goal looked a bit too open when Galip Batıhan came free, but Rauno Naskali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Rimpiläinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Apetroaiei came free, but Johannes Vatanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigore Apetroaiei really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Saul Rimpiläinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rauno Naskali having to interfere. Rauno Naskali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galip Batıhan in the 94th minute of the match. The FC Barcelona fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Reserve were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
