Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Helsinki Raptors's Sakari Murto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kustaa Saastamoinen stood somewhat misplaced when Sakari Murto came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 3 minute. Heino Lyytikäinen kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Kustaa Saastamoinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aki Trehkopf in the 9th minute of play. Helsinki Raptors's Aki Trehkopf was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Kustaa Saastamoinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antti Parkkali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kustaa Saastamoinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reijo Harjanne in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Erno Hiltunen made a precise shot to the right of Kustaa Saastamoinen. Haukivuori's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 26th minute, Helsinki Raptors's Antti Parkkali ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kustaa Saastamoinen. Kustaa Saastamoinen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Ale Eloranta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaarlo Moskuvaara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Erno Hiltunen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kustaa Saastamoinen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kustaa Saastamoinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antti Parkkali in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Kaarlo Moskuvaara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veikko Vapamaa charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Veikko Vapamaa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Haukivuori got a freekick which was hit by Veikko Vapamaa. Antti Parkkali received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kustaa Saastamoinen came out and tried to block the shot, but Antti Parkkali slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes Haukivuori got a freekick which was hit by Heino Lyytikäinen. After having played for 46 minutes, Sakari Murto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helsinki Raptors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sakari Murto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

53 minutes into the match, Haukivuori's goal looked a bit too open when Reijo Harjanne came free, but Kustaa Saastamoinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aki Trehkopf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kustaa Saastamoinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antti Parkkali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reijo Harjanne in the 59th minute of play forced Haukivuori's goalkeeper Kustaa Saastamoinen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aki Trehkopf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Haukivuori was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Kuuri to maneuver through the defense. Pellervo Furuholm charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pellervo Furuholm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Helsinki Raptors's Ossi Timonen was substituted for Sakari Murto. Haukivuori's Kustaa Saastamoinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reijo Harjanne in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Helsinki Raptors's goalkeeper Ale Eloranta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Veikko Vapamaa. Kustaa Saastamoinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aki Trehkopf in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Haukivuori's goal looked a bit too open when Aki Trehkopf came free, but Kustaa Saastamoinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veikko Vapamaa hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Helsinki Raptors's Aki Trehkopf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kustaa Saastamoinen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aki Trehkopf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kustaa Saastamoinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Antti Parkkali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
