The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hannu Salo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. In the 20th minute Anxelu Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Pihlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pär Pihlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anxelu Bermudez in the 23rd minute of the match. Antero Karjalainen succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. A collision led to Ahvenlahti getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jaakko Kouhi hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antero Karjalainen in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atro Kiviharju saved Uleåsalö from getting behind. If Anxelu Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antero Karjalainen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oliver Welling hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Cláudio Lopez in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pär Pihlgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Antero Karjalainen struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Atro Kiviharju didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahvenlahti. When Antero Karjalainen came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ahvenlahti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antero Karjalainen couldn't finish the play. In the 71stth minute of the game Antero Karjalainen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uleåsalö's Atro Kiviharju was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Uleåsalö booed when Ahvenlahti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikko Sinkkonen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Antero Karjalainen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atro Kiviharju was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Pyry Hakanpää kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Anxelu Bermudez charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anxelu Bermudez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ahvenlahti booed when Uleåsalö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anxelu Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atro Kiviharju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainer Peltola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antero Karjalainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Atro Kiviharju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ahvenlahti's zone, Taneli Roihuvuori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pär Pihlgren came out of the goal and Taneli Roihuvuori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Antero Karjalainen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ahvenlahti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antero Karjalainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pär Pihlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anxelu Bermudez in the 96th minute of play. Uleåsalö's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
