PR Merkkausvirhe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eerik Latvanen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to FCW's Jaakob Leinonen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jalmari Karhunen kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Jyri Etula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joakim Lumme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Usko Myllylä made a huge save. Juhani Kyrönlahti charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juhani Kyrönlahti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FCW getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Juhani Kyrönlahti hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jyri Etula in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Usko Myllylä prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Usko Myllylä stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jyri Etula's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Jouko Louke hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jyri Etula kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Usko Myllylä. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. Joakim Lumme might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Usko Myllylä. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joakim Lumme ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jyri Etula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joakim Lumme in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Usko Myllylä saved FCW from getting behind. After a rather tough play, PR Merkkausvirhe's Jyri Etula got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Jalmari Karhunen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Usko Myllylä saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Usko Myllylä made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyri Etula in the 80th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, FCW's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Lumme came free, but Usko Myllylä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jyri Etula took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Usko Myllylä. Usko Myllylä dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Usko Myllylä made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Lumme in the 96th minute of play. In the 99thth minute of the game Jyri Etula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCW's Usko Myllylä was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. PR Merkkausvirhe's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
