Atro Luoma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pentti Leonoff was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Riku Elo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ruissalo FC and the Halisten Haukat players grew even worse after the yellow card. Atro Luoma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halisten Haukat. Rainer Manninen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Savijoki, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The Ruissalo FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Halisten Haukat to win.
