Atro Luoma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Betadur in the 3rd minute. Paiusalmi IFK's Jimmie Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akseli Martikainen in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Marcos Betadur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atro Luoma. Ruissalo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Betadur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Vilppu Grönholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atro Luoma having to interfere. When Kauko Kouhi fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruissalo FC's protests and gave Kauko Kouhi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ruissalo FC's Kauko Kouhi got a free kick in the 12th minute. Jarkko Sammalkangas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Atro Luoma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arto Palsola charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arto Palsola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Atro Luoma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jarkko Sammalkangas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Kalle Halminen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Jarkko Sammalkangas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paiusalmi IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarkko Sammalkangas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Voitto Urholin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarkko Sammalkangas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atro Luoma having to interfere. Jimmie Damm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akseli Martikainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ruissalo FC's Atro Luoma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ruissalo FC from getting a goal against them. Atro Luoma didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Jimmie Damm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pentti Leonoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Pentti Leonoff sped through Paiusalmi IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jimmie Damm. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Yrjänä Esala put in a rough tackle. 43 minutes into the game, one of Paiusalmi IFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jimmie Damm went to the wrong direction when Arto Palsola was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarkko Sammalkangas to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Marcos Betadur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paiusalmi IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Betadur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atro Luoma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruissalo FC's Akseli Martikainen got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Ruissalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Betadur came free, but Atro Luoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruissalo FC's Atro Luoma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarkko Sammalkangas in the 61st minute of play. If Benjamin Sihvonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalle Halminen hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ruissalo FC's Akseli Martikainen got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarkko Sammalkangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pentti Leonoff got free with Jimmie Damm in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Ruissalo FC's zone, Benjamin Sihvonen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atro Luoma came out of the goal and Benjamin Sihvonen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the game, Benjamin Sihvonen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Atro Luoma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarkko Sammalkangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Paiusalmi IFK's Benjamin Sihvonen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atro Luoma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruissalo FC's Atro Luoma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Betadur in the 94th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Marcos Betadur notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Ruissalo FC's Atro Luoma. Atro Luoma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paiusalmi IFK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
