Spectators: 8419 (Terracing: 6315, Seating: 1936, VIP seats: 168) Elmer Jaakkola started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Halisten Haukat's zone, Aarre Kylmänen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rainer Manninen came out of the goal and Aarre Kylmänen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aarre Kylmänen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Halisten Haukat defense, Pentti Halminen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rainer Manninen. The Halisten Haukat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rainer Manninen should have stopped the shot. If Pentti Halminen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Kosamo FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Fiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tapio Snellman. The excitement rose when Kosamo FC's Samuel Niemivirta after 24 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Halisten Haukat's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-3. If Aarre Kylmänen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Niemivirta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rainer Manninen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rainer Manninen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Niemivirta went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aarre Kylmänen to strike the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Fiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmer Jaakkola in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Samuel Niemivirta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halisten Haukat's Rainer Manninen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aarre Kylmänen in the 61st minute of play. Miikka Elovaara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rainer Manninen having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Tapio Snellman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Filomeno Fiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute Aarre Kylmänen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainer Manninen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Halisten Haukat's Albert Siltanen got a free kick in the 74th minute. Aarre Kylmänen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rainer Manninen having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kosamo FC's Aarre Kylmänen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rainer Manninen. That made the score 1-5 after 80 minutes of play. Aarre Saastamoinen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rainer Manninen came out and tried to block the shot, but Aarre Saastamoinen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Aarre Kylmänen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kosamo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aarre Kylmänen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rainer Manninen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Halisten Haukat's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Samuel Niemivirta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Samuel Niemivirta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Halisten Haukat fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kosamo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
