The Malko IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ali Sillgren was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the Ruissalo FC defense, Ali Sillgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atro Luoma. The Ruissalo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atro Luoma should have stopped the shot. After having played for 20 minutes, Franck Harmannus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malko IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franck Harmannus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Rikhard Heliskoski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atro Luoma was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 29 minutes into the match, Ruissalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Sillgren came free, but Atro Luoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Malko IFK's Franck Harmannus in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Atro Luoma was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Franck Harmannus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Franck Harmannus really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Franck Harmannus might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atro Luoma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franck Harmannus ran back to his position shaking his head. Juliusz Malewicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pentti Leonoff in the 45th minute of the match. If Rikhard Heliskoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Ruissalo FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Arto Palsola hit a great ball. Kauko Kouhi hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Akseli Martikainen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Franck Harmannus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruissalo FC's Atro Luoma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Sillgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Atro Luoma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute of the match Salomo Mäkelä sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atro Luoma skillfully saved the ball. When Kauko Kouhi fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruissalo FC's protests and gave Kauko Kouhi a yellow card for diving instead. Atro Luoma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franck Harmannus's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Rikhard Heliskoski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atro Luoma having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franck Harmannus in the 78th minute of play forced Ruissalo FC's goalkeeper Atro Luoma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rikhard Heliskoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute August Haapamäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atro Luoma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kauko Kouhi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Tuukka Liimatainen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 98th minute, Franck Harmannus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malko IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. Malko IFK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
