Ahto Pentsinen's late challenge caught a Uupelo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahto Pentsinen helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes Academy got a freekick which was hit by Ahto Pentsinen. 3 minutes into the match, Uupelo FC's Jaakkima Timmonen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Riku Jämsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elmo Rautee during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 5 minutes into the match, Uupelo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rubin Swartz came free, but Izydor Wierzbicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Academy got a corner. Uupelo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elmo Timoska ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Academy fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Academy's Rubin Swartz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sakari Vesanen kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 19thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Uupelo FC's keeper Izydor Wierzbicki was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Vihtori Jatkola hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Leevi Kokko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izydor Wierzbicki having to interfere. Izydor Wierzbicki made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Sakari Vesanen sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sakari Vesanen got free with Izydor Wierzbicki in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 34 in the game by Rubin Swartz from a close distance when the talented Izydor Wierzbicki managed to make a qualified save. Uupelo FC's players were relieved. Academy were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Uupelo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elmo Timoska took the corner. In the 38th minute of the match Academy got a corner. Uupelo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elmo Timoska ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Uupelo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Academy:s goal. Izydor Wierzbicki had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Rubin Swartz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball It was joyful for the audience to see Rubin Swartz dribbling past the opponents defense line in the 41st played minute and put the ball into the net. 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Elmo Rautee made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Academy getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Elmo Timoska hit a great ball. Jaakkima Timmonen, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Burileanu came free, but Riku Jämsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sakari Vesanen in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Izydor Wierzbicki saved Uupelo FC from getting behind. Riku Jämsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmo Rautee, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Izydor Wierzbicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakari Vesanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakari Vesanen in the 73rd minute of play forced Uupelo FC's goalkeeper Izydor Wierzbicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakari Vesanen took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Izydor Wierzbicki. Izydor Wierzbicki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Sakari Vesanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izydor Wierzbicki having to interfere. Riku Jämsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Burileanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Riku Jämsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Burileanu in the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sakari Vesanen in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Izydor Wierzbicki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute Sakari Vesanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izydor Wierzbicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Sakari Vesanen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Izydor Wierzbicki. Uupelo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sakari Vesanen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uupelo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
