Suonenvaara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verneri Innanen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Verneri Innanen managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a little luck, Uupelo FC's Izydor Wierzbicki got control of the ball when Kari Snellman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Suonenvaara's Jeremias Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Burileanu in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Iivari Saira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moise Burileanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Marquez having to interfere. Izydor Wierzbicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verneri Innanen in the 65th minute of play. Kari Snellman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Izydor Wierzbicki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 68 minutes into the match, Vihtori Jatkola notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Suonenvaara's Jeremias Marquez. Jeremias Marquez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 74 played minutes Suonenvaara got a freekick which was hit by Taavetti Niinimaa. The crowd rose to their feet as Suonenvaara's Kari Snellman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Izydor Wierzbicki. That made the score 1-1 after 96 minutes of play.
